The Cycle of Abundance

Nature starts with the seed, placed in the ground, it strives through the soil to break free. Tender and vulnerable it courageously reaches for the sky and spreads it’s first shoots. After a time, through persistence and effort, it grows to a mature state and is now ready to start the cycle of abundance.
It surrenders its leaves and looks to all the world as a bare tree , possibly dying . Yet it has dropped the leaves because it is going through transformation, and soon bright new buds appear on its branches, and with the first rays of the summer sun, they open up as delicate and beautiful blossom that fill the sky with color and sprinkle the earth with rainbows.
Next it surrenders its blossom and comes in to full flower, each shape and form more exotic in its perfume than the other . Gladly allowing its beauty to be cut and shared, filling the our homes with its heavenly scents.
Then comes the birthing phase when the tree produces fruits of all shapes and sizes , so abundant in its offering that it literally drops them to the earth in its effulgence of bounty , with no attachment to it being eaten, acknowledged or having it fall back to enrich its own roots.
After this the tree sprouts into an expansive leafing stage , offering shade to all from the rays of the sun, as its limbs extend across the ground in glorious shadows of cool.
Then once rested, those of us who lie in its presence are provided with the comfort of its leaves, as Fall comes to sweep away its summer magnificence, and creates a bed of warmth for the creatures to burrow in to.
Finally in Winters quiet short days, it retreats within. Peacefully reflecting on the years creation and waits in anticipation of springs first whisper, when the cycle of abundance begins a new!

As you follow the story of the tree, you can see that after the initial effort to establish itself, the tree surrenders to the cycle of Abundance , and effortlessly moves through each stage with acceptance, surrender and trust. No matter how glorious its creation , it allows it to fall and gifts it to the world, knowing space must be made for the next transformation to actualize.
First , there is the gift of Beauty, seen in the blossom. Second, the gift of Fragrance, we smell in the flowers. Third, the gift of Sustenance, in the fruit. Fourth, the gift of Shelter, to be found in its shadow. Fifth, the Comfort to be found in its leaves and finally the gift of self, as we are left to face the world exposed, yet encouraged by its example of giving and assured of the abundance of surrender.

The only thing keeping you from receiving is your attachment to what you have , no matter how prized, let it go by gifting to the world, and watch yourself effortlessly transform in continuing cycles of beauty!

'Giving your all, Heart & Soul'

A commonly used saying, to put your heart and soul into something means to give it your all, not just mentally and physically but emotionally 'Heart' and spiritually 'Soul' . The implication is that most of the time we are applying ourselves to our everyday tasks in life using our minds to process information or our bodies to action some physical task, yet these aspects of us although very useful are only the tools of our being, given to us to implement our desires in our physical reality. They in themselves do not have drive or passion, excitement or inspiration this is the realm of our true selves, our spirit, our Souls. This eternal aspect of our being has a grander perspective of our life seen over an infinite time span at one with the source of all, it sees no lack or limitation but only possibilities of experience and entertainment, and views our current existence as an opportunity to explore this. Its wide perception allows it to see an unlimited life, where all our dreams and desires are possible and available and lets us know when we are on track with this by the communication of our emotions. As Abraham-Hicks describes “Our emotions are our guidance system”. They come in many variations but are essential a binary system, meaning they are either ‘On’ or ‘Off’ , and how we interpret these we call ’Feeling Good’ or ‘Feeling Bad’. When we are in congruence with our Souls we feel this connection as a wholeness, a completeness, a feeling of being ‘on course’ and this feels ‘Good’,this feeling ‘Good’ has many nuances blissful, excited, happy, pleased, peaceful etc. yet when this is absent, the lack of the ‘Good’ feeling, we have named ‘Bad’, which can take the form of sadness,frustration,upset,anger,irritation etc.
So when we have this Good feeling, we are in the flow, in connection with our grander self, all aspects of our being are aligned and working as a team towards the same goal with the sum of the parts equalling more than the individual pieces. This cohesiveness enables you to tap into the infinite source of your being and with your ‘heart and soul’ onboard there is no end to what you can achieve!

Integrity of an American Idol

Pop Culture , or more correctly Popular culture is generally attributed to what in the mainstream of our world is catching our attention , or as a number of ancient teachings and channels like BASHAR say , What is Entertaining us!
Now with the advent of the world wide success of the Secret! first as the movie then as a bestselling book , Oprah's Echkart Tolle 'New earth' series , and the whole 'Time for Change' movement spearheaded and culminating in Barack Obama's being voted into the Presidency, we are looking at a whole new form of Pop culture one infused with all the spirituality, positivity and integrity ,once only reserved for the rare ashram or retreat center, these qualities are expanding and spreading like wild fire through our whole world on all levels , the new Pop Culture is a Spiritual Culture!
Part of this new thinking is the concept of creating ones own reality ! that each of us from our own perspective manifest and pave our own destiny through the thoughts, words and actions we choose, and that what we spend time focusing upon is what we find shows up in our lives ! Writers such as Esther & Jerry Hicks and Maui's own Dr. Wayne Dyer explain all the details of this thinking , as well as new mainstream movies such as Peaceful warrior & Conversations with God . One of the main issue's this has brought up is that although we might want a new car or House or more money , these are not the real desires but simply what we feel will give us what we truly want Peace of Mind ; because in this quiet and accepting place we are in direct contact with own Grander being , inspired to trust our own intuition and have the courage to become the creators,the writers, the artists our Hearts yearn to express through the greatest work of ART , our own Lives!
This was recently evidenced in the pinnacle of modern pop culture , cable TV's American Idol .In last years season a young singer/songwriter David Cook , broke the mold of the normal teen pop sensation and despite all odds went on to shock the shows judges and win ! How did he do this ? Four attributes which we should emulate. Integrity,Courage,Trust and Non-Attachment! He had a connection to who he was and what he believed and would not compromise this but found amazing ways to interpret hit songs in a courageous new way ,trusting that his fresh approach would touch the audience all the time unattached to winning the show if it meant losing himself! He more or less said this in the final and was shocked to be announced the winner!
So ,now more than ever, in our society we are valuing the new ,fresh and Inspiring ideas that grow not from our past associations of the mind , but in trusting an Inner Passionate imagination to imbue Popular culture with our own particular brand of enlightened Entertainment!

Stop Needing and you wont be found Wanting!

Recentley whilst reading 'The Secrets of a Passionate Marriage' by David Schnarch P.H.D, i came across a secret that hit me as so True, that i just had to share it with you!
In all Relationships in our Life we have one desire that permeates , we want to be wanted! Or to put it another way, that any one that is with us ,is there because they want to be , they choose freely & Honestly to connect with us on whatever level purely for the joy of being in our company!
However there is a hitch , and quite a big one ! ... hidden in our Ego is a stronger yearning that has hijacked this emotion and coerced it for its own deeper plan! Being wanted is not enough because we fear the uncertainity of it , it has no security , and more importantly no CONTROL! So the creation we all manifest in many wonderous and insiduous ways is the NEED to be NEEDED!
It is in this twisted way that the ego controls the game and throws out hooks into those around us , all be it often subconsciously, to manipulate there psuedo loyalty and thus avoid the risk of losing them by unexpectedly!
Now the point is this , if someone needs you they are unable to want you. Wanting implies a choice with both yes and no as options, yet if another is in need of you they have lost the ability to choose and in that loss of freedom your own inner recognition goes unwitnessed. You are now controlling their options and the prize of their presence is hollow and false, leaving you confused and lost.
Now the good news is that once you see this playing out you can change it !
Stop looking to be Needed and you will find you are Wanted!

Transformation

'The only constant is change' - a famous saying that happens to be quite true so the question is not how do we transform but what do we transform into ?

Every moment we are making choices that effect who we are , they define us and constantly transform who we are the next moment so it is literally impossible to ever remain unchanged. Each thought we have shifts our perception of ourselves and thus the world around us is seen with new eyes and in our experience seems to change as well. Just as a caterpillar will go through life seeing a world of branches and leaves once transformed into a butterfly it's world will become beautiful flowers and expansive skies , so may you willingness to let go of who you are enable you to become whatever you dream to be!

So what dreams are we having ? The answer to this will lead us to what we are becoming if we stay focused on an abundant future' following our Bliss' as Joseph Campbell so eloquently put, then our life will reflect that. All it takes is 'Intention, Attention and No-Tension' as Janet bray attwood says in the Passion test , yet hidden in here is the key it is the tension that prevents us from having what we desire ,or more accurately experiencing what we choose. Marianne williamson hit the nail on the head when she spoke about our greatest fear being our light and not our darkness , in fact we often feel more secure hidden from sight than exposed in the light . What we undeniable choose is to be limited , to project our power outwards to many seemingly unswayable sources , our families,our teachers, our society, our government even our God , (whether we call it Fate , destiny or universe) This allows us to be comfortable with the small scope of our responsibility and not overawed by the truth , that we are responsible for it all .

Every experience that comes to us is one of infinite possibilities available in every moment from the vast unknown , were all things exist not materially but potentially . So we do not so much as create , but select and witness from the all that is ,based on our priorities at the time and these line up as stepping stones for our future .

However our priorities are split, as Aurobindo puts it between our conscious , sub unconscious and super-conscious , with all three sending out different signals that confuse the experience. So the only way to become integral in our choice is to become unified in our objective , to have all three aspects of ourselves in harmony . To analyse and restructure our foundations , the subconscious scripts so that they are in accordance with our grander vision. To let go of the conscious ego's limited ideas and align it with the greater aspect of our eternal soul that is one with the source , dropping our fears and transforming ourselves each day to a bright new being!

INTIMACY - INTO MY SELF I SEE!

The oxford dictionary defines intimacy as friendship, rapport, closeness, affection & affinity it struck me that there was an order to this that lead to a very important realisation!
We start a friendship , build a rapport , become closer ,develop affection and recognise an affinity , in Nepal they have a word for this recognition; NAMESTE ! It means ' I see the God in you' and it is how they greet each other every day to remember the truth of those before you.

However in the west we went a different direction. We developed a cloak of separation that protects us from world , we distance ourselves from harms way and set up sophisticated security methods to prevent anyone from getting to close . We seek to avoid repetition of Pain that we have felt in our lives and look for people to earn our trust before opening up , also we want to hide our faults as we fear the judgement that others might bring to their interpretation of our past , but most of all , as marianne williamson says" it is not our darkness we fear but our light" and it is this that we wish to hide ! If another was to truly see the magnificence we are , we would be faced with the conclusion that we are the God they see and in this have to own our own creator-ship and be responsible for our whole lives. This ownership is a daunting thing and leads us face to face with our deepest fears , the questions of why ? Why has our life played out the way it has ,?Why am I here ? Why did I do this to myself ? Most of us are not prepared to go there , so we stay distant from others and therefore distant from ourselves living a life of surface interactions constantly yearning for the touch that can never reach us .

As we get older and wiser in life we see time after time how we repeat the patterns of relationship , how the idiocy of presenting to a potential suitor a false image of ourselves, how we hold back from revealing and try to figure out what the other wants . how we should be to give us the greatest chance of winning their approval . Only to feel trapped in this fake persona a year down the line and as we start to resist its restricting limitations we are surprised that our partner is disenchanted and the inevitable break up ensues with both bitter for the deceit.

Finally after many repetitions of this scenario we gain the wisdom and the courage to strip away the layers of protection and to be true to our selves to allow our Intuition, Instinct and Insight to lead us . No longer hiding we step naked into each day with trust realising that in our truth we attract those which are in harmony with our soul not our ego! Thus with the distortion of illusion removed all can see us clearly for who we really are.

The opportunity of intimacy then is to go there, to enter the challenge of vulnerability and discover our true selves in the gaze of another !

Allowing Abundance!

Abundant Living!

The nature of Abundance is often the Achilles heel of the modern world of spirituality, people who devote time and energy towards there daily practice achieving a sense of well being , seem to stumble when faced with the manifestation of Wealth in their everyday life ,in particular the Energy vibration we call MONEY !

Money is the most tangible and free form of energy present in our Western world , it crosses all barriers , translates into all languages and takes all forms , it has no prejudices , biases or agendas , being available to all , in fact as Byron Katie says " it is a great example to follow" so why do we have so much charge about it ?

All meaning is assigned , everything we experience in life starts as neutral , it then has meaning assigned to it by us based on how we are effected by our interaction with it ! All our conclusions , both learnt and taught , made in the past are then superimposed onto the next similar experience we have , and thus a preconceived idea is projected onto each moment , cutting us off from really being present and seeing a new perspective!

This is what we all have about money , a bunch of judgments and feelings , about having it or not having it , about others having more or less of it than us and what that means , should we feel guilty or grateful , generous or miserly , in fact there are so many paradoxical opinions about it that it is no wonder we have a difficult time understanding it !

So the first thing to do is to stop blaming Money ! Money is not a 'thing' but simply an expression of your energy in the world and how you relate to it . Just like electrical current you often can not see it , you don't know what it is exactly yet you use it everyday for a multitude of devices with out any judgments. There is an infinite supply of energy (i.e. money) and Abundance is the realization of this fact , so how do we experience more or less of it?..... by our choices!

Imagine you are a hole in the fabric of reality and on one side is the infinite energy of the source and it shines through you out onto the vast blackness of space creating your own picture called life . Now the size of that hole ( i.e. you ) is the only limitation to the energy you perceive is yours, so in order to experience more energy in what ever form you choose, money , vitality , time or love all you have to do is open yourself up to it ! And the reason we do not, is because we fear we will tear the very make up of our personality , our ego's, which are built on the false concept that we are reactors to out there , not in truth the creators from in here!

So in conclusion abundance is not something to get but something to allow! In each moment you are the one choosing what shows up in your life and how much of it. Remove your own fears and judgments , increase your level of acceptance and witness the Infinite Source expressing through you !

Being stuck is the beginning of freedom!

Knowing you are stuck and admitting it is the first most powerful step there is , we can go many lifetimes completely oblivious to this fact and look for all the reasons outside of ourselves and constantly go round in spirals , but when we finally stop and let go of our pride we can open up to the help and compassion that is available to us in all situations , yet realise this can only come to us when we give ourselves the same compassion by asking for help!

The appearance of others living a better life or grander vision is a gift it is your soul telling you that this is available to you too and the sadness you feel about it is because you know that your current choices are holding you back from grasping this truth .
Everyone is always dying , and it is the daily death of our personality , the letting go of all we have invested in that allows us to recreate ourselves with a fresh new vision learning from every experience and building on this wisdom to put ourselves back together each day , so you can see that it is only the ego that is dying the soul is growing !

You are so right each time of deep sadness forces us to drop our masks and the facade of success and happiness and allows us heartfelt inquiry into our doubts and fears , and it is in this true listening that we are heard and that aspect of ourselves is reunited with the totality of our grander being , we become our own beloved and in our own forgiveness we are made whole.

The lessons and people that come into your life repeatedly are there at your request and they will keep showing up as long as your are avoiding the wisdom they are giving you , it is only when we realise this and take responsibility for it that we stop seeing things as negative but rather as an opportunity to experience what we have chosen , i.e. if we wish to know ourselves as peaceful then the opposite will show up so that we may know ourselves as this , our if we declare that something going to our plan will improve us , then the plan will always fall apart because the truth is that we can not be improved we are already and will always be amazing wonderful unlimited beings so we will never feel better if we look for it in achievement or advancement , only in totally acceptance and the dropping of judgement of our feelings and the openness to allow them will we see underneath the truth of our perfection!

so to answer you questions !

THERE IS NOTHING YOU HAVE TO DO ...EXCEPT WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO DO IN EACH MOMENT , YOUR CHOICE IS ALWAYS THE PERFECT ONE!

THERE IS NOTHING YOU HAVE TO BE , YOU ALREADY ARE EVERYTHING , SO SIMPLY CHOOSE WHAT ASPECT OF THE ALL YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPERIENCE AND BE IT!..THEN ONCE YOU ARE DONE CHOOSE AGAIN AND BE THAT , AL;LOW THIS PROCESS TO UNFOLD INFINITELY AS THE MYSTERY IS INEXHAUSTIBLE!

YOU ARE ALREADY MANIFESTING THE LIFE OF YOUR DREAMS ALWAYS SO THE SECRET IS LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE DREAMING ABOUT AND WHY , WHAT DO YOU FEEL IT WILL GIVE YOU REALISE THAT IT IS ALREAY PERFECT NOW CELEBRATE THE THINGS YOU HAVE TO BE GRATEFUL FOR NOW AND THEN WATCH AS THAT GRATITUDE ATTRACTS MORE OF THAT FEELING INTO YOUR LIFE, WHEN YOU JUDGE YOU CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCE TO NOT BE GOOD ENOUGH AND YOU FOCUS ON THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO ATTRACT MORE OF THAT INTO YOUR LIFE SO CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT IT , AND IT WILL CHANGE!

THE REASON YOU HAVE LOST ALL HOPE IS THAT WHAT YOU WERE AFTER IS AN IDEA OF BETTERMENT AND A JUDGEMENT OF NON PERFECTION OF WHERE YOU ARE NOW , SO THERE IS PERFECTION IN YOUR DESPAIR ALLOW TRUE WITNESSING AS THE FEELING CONSUMES YOU , FOCUS ON THE CORE OF THIS , BE DILIGENT WITH YOUR INQUIRY AND JUDGE YOURSELF NOT , BUT LET THE SEED OF YOUR SORROW BE SEEN IT IS BURIED BELOW THE EVERYDAY REASONS AND AT ITS ROOT YOU WILL FIND A SEED OF WISDOM , A ANCIENT RECONNECTION WITH YOUR SOUL , DO NOT AVOID THIS TIME KNOW THAT WHEN THE SUFFERING IS WELCOMED IT TRANSMUTES AND EMBRACES YOU !

As each Soul sits contemplating its next incarnation , no matter what the challenges are for each particular Lifetime , it looks for the circumstances that will allow it the possibility to Enter the Darkness of Forgetting and then to adventure through each day back to Remembrance as one with the Light .

We are All born an unlimited , magnificent illuminated being , sparkling with eyes of delight for everyone to behold. Each baby is a source of Joy and lightness of being , not only for the parents but also for each person that comes into contact with them , as their giggling smiling face reminds of the child in our own heart!

However as we grow up and join the world the once approved of brilliance is seen as too much , like a spotlight in their face , so the parents install a Dimmer switch to us and get about the task of keeping us quite and out of 'trouble' so we fit in with the rest of the herd! Eventually after a million "No's" we become very proficient at dimming ourselves and soon have it set on Low Lite setting! ...this pleases everyone so much that now around your 7th birthday you are awarded with your very own Lampshade so you don't have to worry about the switch and you have lots of great shadow in which to store your suppressed Feelings and unwanted emotions.

Now this is all well and good , until one day usually around what is commonly called your Aquarius rising in astrology or late twenties / early thirties the shade is overflowing and things start to leak out into your life that seem unwanted and unexpected as the emotional storeroom is full! About this time you are usually impacted by some serious challenges in life that make you question all you previously believed and you no longer feel like wearing the shade , maybe a break-up , maybe a death , maybe an illness , maybe a betrayal ... whatever it is you are left raw and vulnerable and you look elsewhere for answers !

It might be a workshop or a journey abroad but you find a glimpse of what had been hidden and you pull off the dimmer switch and your light is exposed like a beacon of illumination , and you see all the baggage you have been carrying and start the work to process, release and embrace you inner depths. As you do this your outside world is effected and people are drawn to you and your light , inquisitive of the glistening quality of your being and curious to know how they might achieve it ! Yet be aware once in your radiance they themselves become exposed and quite often they are not ready for this unexpected revealing of their long forgotten suppression and the fear and may be overwhelming and cause them to retreat back to the comfort of their shadows , yet a spark will have been set and their own journey will have begun !

The Greatest challenge as Nelson Mandela says in the famous speech "is our Light not our darkness!" yet each lifetime holds a new journey with the potential of remembrance in a new and mysterious way thus infinitely enriching the wisdom of our souls , and as we join once again the Source we bring a new shade of illumination to its eternal Radiance!

So remove your Dimmer switch today and Shine forth , you have a unique and wondrous star inside you that will benefit all that bask in it !!

Mastering Truth

We are all masters walking a path and although each may seem different in content they are all the same in energetics ! We are all moving from dream to waking , from consciousness to unconsciousness , constantly unravelling the knowledge we hold into experience and thus revealing the wisdom wrapped in each moment like a harvest of pearls . Yet if we get lost in the harvest and never crack open our shells the pearls are never seen , and the harvest is barren.

The perfection is the Paradox of Truth, how each seeming individual soul can act from there heart and manifest the ideal players to come into there life to offer them a mirror of themselves , be it judgement, reflection or admiration, and thus create the circumstances to experience the making Known from the Unknown and gleaning the wisdom therein. And yet somehow all beings can do this simultaneously , there is no confusion or disturbance in the Perfect chaos of choice!

To slap another is to awaken yourself to the truth that it is you who were in a box asleep ,and dreaming were slapped by there behaviour of limitation ! Awaken to the truth that all is you echoed and see the ripples are made by the stone dropped in the pool , and whilst the ripples repeat on the surface the stone drops deeper , return to the stone you are , be solid in truth and deepen in wisdom!

God realisation is when each drop of water experiences itself as the ocean !

We cling so tightly to our individuality , concerned that if we allow ourselves to be engulfed into the source that we will cease to be , however this is both true and false! The limited sense of ourselves we attach to called the Ego will dissolve , yet what is revealed underneath that is the infinite Self that was eternally there ! The Feeling is of a drop of water falling into a still pond loosing its limited distinction of self as a drop yet becoming the grander experience of the ripples it creates , expanding ever outwards into the lake of infinity!

The purpose of Life is for God to experience itself through Us!

I have always been a part of the western world yet seemed to rebel from its excesses and striving for more yet after my journey away for 5 years I realised that 'to be in this world but not of it' was my path of exaggerated evolution .

All of life is a backdrop on which you project your own particular story , perfectly aligned to bring you face to face with you own cocktail of issues to focus your attention on and to resolve in peace and surrender, embracing all your negative projections back to your heart when you realise they are lost parts of You !

The scenery may change , the actors may change, your costume might change even your place in the audience will change but your essence has never changed , and the play is simply a vehicle to lead you back to what has always been true!

Whatever you choose life will constantly craft you , like an unending series of sculpturers with there chisels , each chip lost will reveal the beauty existent within us!

'If you don't go within you will go without!" - Neale Donald Walsche

This simple line I first read in Neale's book Conversations with God , not only brought me from the depths of a Breakdown but lead me on a journey around the world to over 2000 sacred sites in 55 countries and finally to the destination we are all heading for , Home to Myself!

This morning I started to read a great new book The four Agreements that address this exactly and I would recommend it highly as a place to start the journey , also for those of a more magical slant The journey Home by Kyron puts this courageous adventure we are all embarked on into a epic Parable !

Essentially the we are not on a journey of acquisition but a journey of dissolution , remove what you are not and what you are is revealed as always having been there!... How do you know what to remove ? What can be removed is not you , what is eternal IS!
